Our Story

I am a lifelong traveler and I love finding exciting destinations around the world. But it was during my trip to Casablanca, Morocco where I found myself inspired by the rich colors of nature's bounty that this idea for Realm Concept Market began to take shape.

My name is Jamilla and I am the Founder and CEO of Realm Concept Market. I was born in the Mexican Caribbean city of Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico and my family hails from the beautiful country of Belize. 

I'm a busy entrepreneur who is always on-the-go! One day, I found myself in Casablanca with my best friend to celebrate his birthday when we discovered our shared passion for natural wellness products. We looked around at all these beautiful Moroccan people that were so happy and had perfect skin - the country vibrant and full of life. Everywhere that we went the people smiled brightly as if they had everything there and were happy to share in the bounty of their wonderful culture. Being there made me realize how much happier one can be by simply taking care of oneself through self-care practices like meditation, yoga and wellness routines rather than chasing materialistic items. There I realized that those things are transient while what's inside you will stay forever no matter where life takes you. Those things make up your Realm.

I have always been a healthy person, but when my friends started to comment on how tired I looked and the changes in my skin tone it became clear that something was wrong. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroid disease and later on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, I didn't feel like myself...again. These conditions can be debilitating so of course this wasn't easy for me at first; however as time went by a change in lifestyle and natural skincare helped reduce some inflammation while also removing any breakouts associated with these health issues from occurring. Through healthier lifestyle choices such as taking more walks outside or switching up what I ate like vegan or low carb dishes during our family dinners or low impact pilates and yoga classes - these small adjustments made all the difference to improve my wellness!

These products helped me overcome visible thyroid/ovarian hormonal issues but it also made a difference in the lives of countless family and friends who dared to try the oils, butters and more. It wasn't easy at first to make these changes - it required self-awareness on both physical health and emotional wellbeing.

Now, things are looking up for me. Even though there is still work to do in terms of figuring myself out; this has been an empowering thing for me and the countless others who have empowered themselves through our products and wellness mind-state. 

For the last three years, we have been hard at work to reach women all over the Unites State and the World. We make it a priority to speak with our consumers and community because that is how we can create the sense of belonging which will lead us down this exciting journey together!
